And so it begins. Lewis Hamilton has donned a Ferrari red track suit, and had his first laps as part of the team.

The Tifosi die hards lined the fences today at the Fiorano test track in Maranello to catch a foggy glimpse of Lewis making his first laps. Luckily for them, Charles Leclerc also saw some lap time in the afternoon session. A double dose of Ferrari excellence for those that braved the cold damp weather.

Like anyone who has ever gotten into a new car, or even a new to them car, there is just something special about that first drive. Hamilton enthused about it afterwards, and in continuation to my post from yesterday, builds upon the foundation and rejuvenation of Hamilton at Ferrari.

With Angela Cullen, peacefulness and physical readiness is back in style for Lewis, and with the excitement of the new team, and the fact he is at Ferrari, he is a happy man. A happy Lewis, is a dangerous Lewis. If he is having fun out there, and the car performs well, he's a podium threat all season long. I for one am excited to see the battles that ensue, and hope we get a season with an even tighter race to a championship than we had in 2024 which was a stellar one. Is it March yet???? Longest winter ever!
