Adrian Newey Seeing Green at Aston Martin

Well the Newey sweepstakes is over, and the man the myth the legend, will be seeing British racing green beginning in March of 2025.

So what will life be like next year for Newey? Well for starters Lawrence Stroll has been pouring money into a new beautiful state of the art facility for Aston Martin racing. It's probably the biggest draw for a automotive creative genius like Newey. If you gave Michelangelo a shotty piece of marble, he could still extract out of it the most beautiful sculpture. You give Newey a facility like this? Well it's a kid in a candy store with free reign, and we shouldn't expect anything less right?

Truly, his past speaks volumes. 25 championships amongst the teams he was associated with, the most recent of course with Red Bull. His name carries a lot of weight, and with good reason. Not only will Stroll benefit from bringing him on board to help propell his baby to the front of the grid, it makes garnering sponsorships all that much easier. Oh, you have two time champion Fernando Alonso and Adrian Newey? Take our money.....as long as they show signs of progress, and wins.

While it won't be a night and day flick of the switch, Aston Martin is now poised to race into the 2026 regulations with a whole lot more fire power. It will still take time of course....but, look at the last and current reg change. Red Bull with the help of Newey put together a car that allowed not only Verstappen, but Perez as well, race off into the distance in the first season. I'd imagine it will be similar yet maybe not quite as easy for Aston Martin come 2026. It would be a solid bet though, that they come to the grid with a top 3 car.

In any case, it will make for an interesting couple of seasons for sure!
